Orange Ice Cream

A delicious fruity orange ice cream that's the ideal summer treat.

Ingredients

  • 2 ¼ Cups Fresh squeezed orange juice
  • 1 Tbsp Lemon juice
  • ¾ Cup Granulated sugar
  • 2 Cups Thickened cream
  • 1 tsp Orange extract (optional)
  • Few Drops Orange food colour (optional)

Instructions

  • Add orange juice, lemon juice, and sugar to a large bowl and stir until combined.
  • Whisk the cream into the juice mixture.
  • Whisk in the orange extract and food colouring if you want to use them.
  • Chill the liquid for at least two hours, then pour it into an ice cream maker and churn, following the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Scoop ice cream into a freezer-proof container and freeze for at least two hours or until hardened.
