Review Of Much Moore Awesome Foursome Cravings Ice Cream 2L
Much Moore is a New Zealand brand that’s a relative newcomer to Australian supermarkets. Their “Awesome” range is sold in Woolworths, so I bought every flavour and ate them.
This is a review of the Awesome Foursome Cravings 2L tub. It’s an indulgent-sounding product that I couldn’t wait to eat. Keep reading to decide if it’s worth a spot in your freezer.
What is Much Moore Awesome Foursome Cravings?
The tub contains equal quantities of four flavours of ice cream:
- Salted caramel.
- Vanilla.
- Vanilla with cookie dough and chocolate chips.
- Chocolate with cookie pieces.
Is the tub any good?
A tub of Awesome Foursome Cravings is good value if you want variety. The flavour choices in this tub have something that’ll appeal to everyone. I found mixing all four into one scoop was delicious.
I enjoyed the ice cream but found each flavour variant a little icy. The texture lacked the smooth creaminess of the best tubs in supermarkets.
It wouldn’t be fair to compare this product to super premium tubs like Haagen-Dazs or Ben & Jerry’s. However, tubs in the price range of Much Moore offer better quality ice cream. The best example is Bulla Cream Classics, which is superior in flavour and consistency thanks to the addition of fresh milk and cream.
I’d like to see bigger pieces of cookie dough and cookie pieces mixed in. But that’s a personal preference rather than a complaint.
Although improvements could be made to this ice cream, Awesome Foursome Cravings still offers good value for money. The concept is excellent, and I think it’ll sell well in Aussie supermarkets, especially during the 50% off promotions.

The negatives: Some reviewers criticized the product for not meeting “premium” quality expectations, particularly regarding flavour and texture. Some found the flavours artificial and the consistency too icy.
The high price point was a significant concern, leading many to state they would only repurchase if the product was on sale.

Ingredients
The main dairy components of this ice cream are milk solids and milk fat. 2.0% of the tub comprises cookie pieces, 2% cookie dough, and 1% choc chips.
A long ingredient list isn’t ideal, but remember there are four different flavours in one pack.
Ingredient list: Ice Cream [Milk Solids (from Milk), Milk Fat (from Cream), Sugar, Glucose (from Maize and/or Tapioca), Cocoa, Vegetable Emulsifiers (477, 471), Vegetable Stabilisers (412, 407a), Colours (150d, 155, 160a,160b), Flavour, Salt], Cookie Pieces (2%) [contains Wheat Flour, Milk Solids, Raising Agents (500, 503), Emulsifier (322 from Soy), Flavour], Cookie Dough (2%) [contains Wheat Flour, Milk Solids, Flavour], Choc Chip (1%) [contains Emulsifiers (492, 322 from Soy), Flavour].
Milk fat
Milk fat impacts ice cream consistency. Higher levels result in a creamier, smoother mouthfeel.
The Much Moore Awesome range has 10% milk fat. That’s comparable to the Coles ice cream range but less than brands like Bulla Murray Street, Connoisseur, and Haagen-Dazs.
